Normanby Remembrance Day Service 11th November 2016

Tom Towers
(Normanby LHG Honorary President)

Tom has always worked tirelessly supporting our Group.

He has for many years been the main drive to ensure success of the Normanby Service of Remembrance

The preparation requires considerable co-ordination and liaison between many different parties including the church, schools, council, police, bus company, local residents and others.
The closure of West Street to traffic and the need for barriers and volunteers to manage the traffic and crowd makes the organisation much more complicated than for similar services held in parks or cemeteries.

We thank Tom and all the volunteers for the continued success of the Normanby Remembrance Day Service.
