"Normanby A Century Ago"
The Normanby Local History Group's Annual Exhibition was held as usual in the Normanby Methodist Church with free admission.
It was a great success with a good attendance and provided an interesting time for all those who wanted to know more of our Normanby in times past.

The main theme of the exhibition was Normanby of a hundred years ago - though we did cover a wider scope!
The exhibition featured postcards & photographs of Normanby, Social History displays as well as displays of members research work.
The North East Meccano Society kindly exhibited many interesting constructions most of which were working models. See these models in action via videos.
Our group’s popular publications and Tombola entry sold well and excellent refreshments (homemade cakes & scones) were available.
