11th Hour of 11th Day of 11th Month Normanby Local History Group organised a Remembrance Service at the Remembrance Garden in Cleveland Street
The service drew a crowd of adults and children wishing to pay their respects to the brave men from Normanby who lost their lives during World War One.
The service was led by our new Minister the Reverend John Howard-Norman. This year’s Standard Bearers were Eric Taylor and Brian Haggath and piper Phil Meadows performed before and after the service. Keith Gatenby (Normanby LHG member) laid a wreath on behalf of our group.

(Note that sadly the service can no longer be held at the Normanby Great War Memorial on the corner of High St & West St because of the changes to traffic routeing. However a wreath was laid at the Great War Memorial by Paul Boden on behalf of our group.)
