The mill was burnt down in 1885 and rebuilt at a cost of £2,500.
However it had ceased operation by 1894 and was auctioned in 1905.
It then had many uses but mainly as a buliders yard.
The Mill and the Mill House were owned for many years by Walter G. and Alice Bean until it was demolished 1978/9.
